The training event dedicated to “The Fundamentals of Integrated and Functional Infusion Medicine,” held at the Hotel I Portici in Bologna on June 21, 2025, concluded with an exceptional sold-out attendance.
The event, which saw the participation of doctors from all over Italy, confirmed the growing interest of the medical community in personalized supportive therapies—a fundamental pillar of longevity medicine and primary prevention.
Course Focus
Under the guidance of Dr. Giorgio Carta, participants deepened the theoretical and practical skills necessary to integrate advanced infusion protocols into daily clinical practice. Among the central themes of the day:
- Hydro-electrolytic Optimization: Management of osmolarity and fluid balance.
- Specific Protocols: Deep dives into the Myers’ Cocktail, high-dose Vitamin C, and the use of Glutathione for oxidative balance.
- Safety and Personalization: From clinical history to the outpatient management of solutions in total safety.
A Path in Constant Evolution
The day was not just a moment of technical learning, but a true space for discussion on how parenteral nutrition and functional integration can make a difference in treating chronic fatigue, oxidative stress, and nutritional deficiencies.
“Infusion medicine is not just administration, but a biochemical tailoring that allows us to act where oral supplementation cannot reach.”
Look to the Future: Upcoming Appointments
