Integrated and Functional Infusion Medicine, held last June 22nd. An intense day, characterized by very high participation and an enthusiasm that confirms the growing interest in IV Therapy as a tool of excellence for personalized health.

Beyond Administration: Personalization as the Keystone The course was not just a technical review, but a true journey into therapeutic optimization. Dr. Giorgio Carta guided participants through a detailed analysis of the main substances used in infusions, distinguishing between what is supported by clinical evidence and what proves to be of no utility.

During the day, targeted protocols were explored based on:

  • Vitamin C and Glutathione: for antioxidant and detoxifying support.
  • NAC (N-Acetylcysteine): essential for liver and lung protection.
  • Myers’ Cocktail and Magnesium Sulfate: for restoring electrolytic homeostasis and energy support.
  • Procaine and Low Dose Medicine: for an integrated and bio-revitalizing approach.

“The true added value of Infusion Medicine does not lie in the substance itself, but in the physician’s ability to tailor the therapy to the patient, understanding their unique functional and biochemical needs.” – Dr. Giorgio Carta

Upcoming Events: The 2025-2026 Calendar Given that the first date sold out rapidly, new stages have already been scheduled to allow all interested professionals to access this cutting-edge training:

  • September 20, 2025: Reprise of the 1st Module “The Fundamentals of Infusion Medicine” (for those who could not attend in June).
  • November 16, 2025: 2nd Module – “The Clinic of Amino Acids.” A vertical deep dive into how to combine amino acids to enhance the effectiveness of infusions.
  • During 2026: The program will expand with specific modules dedicated to the treatment of autoimmune diseases and neurodegenerative pathologies via IV Therapy.

Functional Medicine in Bologna Dr. Carta thus continues his mission of dissemination and clinical practice at the Argo Polyclinic in Bologna, consolidating an approach that places the patient at the center of an integrated care system, where academic medicine meets the most modern strategies for longevity and cellular well-being.
