Dr. Giorgio Carta
Dr. Giorgio Carta, born in Rome in 1969, is a medical surgeon who graduated from the University of Bologna and a registered psychologist in the Lazio Region (Registration No. 8081). He is also an expert in homeopathic medicine, registered with the Bologna Register of Homeopaths (Registration No. 14801).
He has been practicing psychology since 1999, focusing specifically on the study and treatment of psychosomatic disorders. He subsequently began studying Hahnemannian Homeopathy at S.I.M.O.H. (Italian School of Hahnemannian Homeopathic Medicine, founded by Professor Antonio Negro) in Rome, where he completed his basic training (2003-2006) and a Clinical Master’s degree (2012).
While deepening his study of homeopathic medicine in Bologna and Rome through clinical practice, teaching, and dissemination, Dr. Carta continued his studies in integrative medicine at Amiot (Italian Medical Association of Homotoxicology) in Milan, where he earned the diploma of expert in Homotoxicology and Integrated Disciplines in 2015. He also explored an integrative medical approach based on the study of regulatory physiology in 2017, earning the diploma from the Italian School of Neural Therapy (Huneke) and the diploma in Functional Regulatory Medicine from the SIMF (Italian Society of Functional Regulatory Medicine) in Milan.
Through his study of functional medicine, Dr. Giorgio Carta understood the importance of oral disorders in the genesis of low-grade chronic inflammation and chronic diseases. This journey led him to found the “Argo Multispecialist Outpatient Clinic for Regenerative Medicine” in 2019, together with Dr. Manuel Nanni, with whom he has shared a deep relationship of respect since their university days. At the clinic, Dr. Carta focuses on the treatment of metabolic diseases related to oral disorders and the prevention of chronic diseases, with a particular focus on the importance of emotional distress and the role of the gut-brain axis.
Dr. Carta has participated in numerous conferences, courses, and congresses as a speaker and is a consultant to leading Italian phytotherapy and nutraceutical companies for the formulation and dissemination of innovative products. He also provides continuing education (CME) for doctors and pharmacists throughout Italy.
